The horses live out all year round to encourage arthritic and stiff joints to keep moving. Our land is maintained using the most environmentally friendly methods we can utilise.
The fields and paddocks have natural shelter and man (well, two women and two men made) built shelters, the latter being bedded down all year round.
Fields - horses are together in both the summer field and the winter field.
We have a home paddock used for isolation of new horses, where the new horse can see other horses and where we can see the horse, both direct and with CCTV; and a flexible-sized box rest paddock should there be a need.

Owner's dogs live on-site and whilst they're not guard dogs, per se, they do have a pretty good woof!
We're new and still adding things and have a list that's almost an arm long (such exciting times!).
The not so nice bit...
...sadly it's a fact of life that there will, at some point, be an end.
This is something we've been through more than once with our own horses over the years, and we know only too well the heartbreak and stress. We were helped then by kind friends and we know the value of that care and support, and how it meant we could focus on being there. Over time we were then able to remember all the good times.
At Dunduin we will, if you wish, take care of all or just any part of it should the time come. Whatever is right for your horse and for you, we will follow your instructions.*
*The only caveat is that of course the wellbeing of the horses in our care will always be at the absolute forefront of all our thoughts and actions. Such eventualities are covered in the agreement.
